The neon genesis of Obito
In a flashback, Obito does his best blithering idiot Naruto impression while Madara tries to explain who he is and how Obito is still alive. Afterwards, Obito trains himself and dons his trademark mask for the first in order to rescue a young Kakashi and Rin from danger.
High Points
- More Tobi origin story.
- Obito dons the Tobi "mask" for the first time.
Low Points
- Pointless and completely unfunny comedy added in to what was otherwise a serious story.
Rants and Raves
This applies to both chapters. Obito being a kid-Naruto level idiot while Madara was speaking to him and the Zetsu joking about taking a dump... chapters like this remind me that I'm an adult reading a comic for 10-ear yolds.
Grade
B-. Chapter 602 was ruined by constant, needless, and cheesy comedy, but I really enjoyed 603 despite the lame poo jokes. When combined into one, the tail end of 603 really saved this from getting into C-grade territory.
